Does any one know how to bypass the reverse rev limiter on the 2002 400 kodiak????

 

Someone answer this, I'm tired of this ????

 

Well I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine he`s got a 03 grizzly and he told me how he did it on his.
step 1 Locate the wiring harness behind the fuel pecot(****)
step 2 Locate the white wire with the green stripe
step 3 strip it back with out cutting it and sodder a wire to it and silicone it up and tape
step 4 run your wire to a 2 post on/off switch
step 5 run ground wire to the other post on the switch
step 6 mount your switch
Ill let ya know if it works on the kodiak but it should I am told

 

I found a reverse rev limiter bypass wiring harness on ebay Reverse Rev Limiter Bypass For the Grizzly and the Kodiak.

 

It did not work but i just bought one off ebay thanks to camo01kodiak.

 

I attempted to access the link to the ebay site to order the rev limiter override. The link no longer worked. Do you have a new link to this ebay site? Do you know if anyone makes a bypass for a 2005 Kodiak?

No need to buy a kit, look over these pictures...the kodiak and grizzly use the same color wire. Green with white stripe.
