Very cool collection! Too bad they were really crappy bikes when new, much like all the other brands that tried to ride the late 60's early 70's mini bike/mini motocross craze. Makes me think of BeBe, Benelli, rupp ect... and oh yeah the AMF/Harley Davidson "shortser"

When I was about 9-10 my grampa would rent the Prowler models for my bro's and 2 cousin's.....We were at Big Bear Ca.(1970). Good Times!!

We had one a two speed auto it didnt go fast but it beat walking
the good old days

 

I disagree that these were crappy bikes. One kid had one that the entire 'hood beat the hell out of and it kept on going. It was still running when his Dad bought him a bigger bike and it was "retired" to the barn.
