northfield pit ?

yes that is the pit. I was there yesterday and "Ol' Roy said they took 15 trucks out of there. Most of it was in the front part of the pit where the wheelers ride. There were a few, including myself, who were edging closer to knocking some of that down. If they don't haul anymore out, the general usage and rain might make it rideable again.

It was fun for us spectator types too. Some kids had made a jump out of plywood, and were jumping to the top of the soft sand, up on top. They all had smaller dirt bikes. And then the one guy, with the painted black dirt bike, tried to go up the dig out, from the bottom! What was he thinking? I didn't know bikes could run that long upside down!
