You could even check out the Disney area. It is an area below the dam around the town of grove somewhere I think . It located on spillway areas of Grand lake. I have been reading a little bit about it on the net. Sounds like a good p[lace to check out. I live in NW Arkansas and have been wanting to go check it out sometime. The place is used by big 4x4 rock crawlers and is situated around the hills and rocky areas of the lake. Just be careful because if they open the dam gates you have to be ready to boogy up to an exit route. If you want to go check it out sometime maybe we could hit it together. Here's a link to the info I have on it. http://www.ozarkexplorer.com/GotZuk2001/

There are also some places in NW Arkansas you could check out on a nice day trip for riding. Just send me a PM if you wanna go sometime.

Thanks Range Rover> Maybe we could meet up there sometime and you could show me around the trails. It would beat riding alone<grin>. Or better yet, maybe a few of us could get a ride together??

Arkie - where are the best places to ride in NW Arkansas. I live in SW Missouri and am looking for different trails to ride. With all of those hills in the Ozark N.F. and the Boston mountains there must be some great places I don't know about for trail riding.

Where are some good places, and about how far are they from the Springdale-Fayetteville area?

TIA!

I think I am going to go to Wedington just west of Springdale this weekend for a day ride. Probably on Saturday. If anyone wants to go let me know. It's not hard to find just send me an email and maybe we could set up a time to meet. There is a campground and lake there as well. Don't know yet but I may take the camper for a couple of nights. There are woods trails, hill climbs and river crossings. Area rules says that you have to stay on the existing roads trails etc. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to the area from Bella Vista, which is on the AR/MO line. Or we could try some other places.
