I just got back from riding at miami trails today.. Had a blast.. But i need someone to ride with.. Ive got another 2 hours on my quad before i have to take it in for its first service... So surfus, maybe we can do a short ride or somthing sunday.. Also were in the process of buying a house in ahwahnee so ill be right there near you...

 

Where in Ahwahnee? We are half whay up 628 (round house Rd) It is the best place to live up here. I have lived in the Oakhurst area for 26 years

Not quite a done deal.. At the soonest we will be out in that house in a month and a half..We are still in the first stages...Yeah i cant wait to get out there so i wont have to load up on the truck and drive more than an hour to ride.. lol

 

well theres this place by my house with a lota ditch jumps and a table top, you just go down shields untill you get to garfield and youll see a dirt road going into a old fig orchard and ur there, i think theres directions at caldirt to.

the 40" max is to keep people with Jeeps off . As you can see all of the Marker show ATV OK but with the lack of money they have not keeps the trails up. and they are rutted up from all the jurks riding bikes in the winter. Riding with my WIfe we have only been on the EASY POWER LINE trail and there where some hairy spots that I almost Put it in REVERSE and go back but I grew some ***** and whent.
the Easy is for BIkes so ATV are not so easy.

18 years ago My ex girlfriend sister and Brother Inlaw and a large group of Bike riders pushed the FS to build the Miami Trials.
They worked hard and the FS had Volenteer YCC crews build the trails by hand (no dozers) this was long before the ATVs came along.

 

I was jsut wondering cause my quad is 46 inches wide...
I went on about 6 different trails.. Yeah the ruts are bad.. Ill show yall some other easy trails wehn we go out and ride...

 

another thing, if the hill looks too steep and too rutted it probably is...

Mental note to self: Stay off of hills....
