Try http://bokasmo.com/pages/ohv/california/index.html

I like Kennedy Meadows, Bishop, and Mammoth area, but these are all on the EAST side of the Sierra (a bit of a drive for you). What about Jawbone or Spangler Hills? Sorry, I'm not familiar with the western Sierra.

I live in Clovis and have yet to find any really decent place to ride around here. I've riddin some places north of Hanford but they kinda sucked.

I'm looking to get some information on riding up in the mountains. I've heard you can ride the Forest Service Rds from someone in Tollhouse. I never seem to remember to contact the Forest Service for any information.

I belong to a club that is on Yahoo!. You can send me a private message if you want some more info.

We ride: Pismo, Hollister, Hungry Valley (Gorman) and "Hart Park" in Bakersfield.

There are Hundreds of miles to trails to ride just up the hill from you.

Clover Meadow

The easiest to get to for me is.
Miami Motor Cycle trails.

I live 1 mile from the Forrest service roads that access this area. (No need to transport)
I have been riding this area with Dirt bikes for over 20 years Now We are just getting into quads we took our first short ride Monday Evening.

Over 60 miles and more of dirt roads, Fire roads and trails.
You can Ride from Fish Camp all the way to HWY 140 Mariposa.
QuadSport.com did their test of the Z400 @ Miami because Suzuki wanted to show off the Suspension.

From Hwy 41, you can easily access the Miami Motorcycle Trails. This area offer 60 miles of year round roads and trails for dirt bikes and all terrain vehicles.
To get there take Hwy 41 north from Fresno to Oakhurst. Travel through Oakhurst and continue on Hwy 42 for approximately 6 miles. Turn left on Road 6S41 There are two staging areas, Kamook and Lone Sequoia where you can park and unload your vehicles.
The area offers trails within the low to moderate difficulty range and a few short segments with high difficulty. The trails are found at an elevation of 3,600’ to 4,800 feet All trails have a maximum vehicle width of 40 inches. All trails are open to two-way traffic and are used by others.
