Good thing Barney bought that sand smoothing thingy after all the money he made during mardigras A friend of a friend is supposed to bring a dozer up there this weekend to smooth out a drag area. I'll find out when I get there Friday.

Man, what you guys are talking about here is killer! I have not visited this board much in a long while but used to frequent macdizzy.com's forum / thread spread and probably know quite a few of you from the dunes if I saw you. I am willing to pay whatever it takes to be in on this. What info do I need to give to be in the list? Thanks.

Ok Mike and everybody, I am back from Disney/Universal Orlando... you can spot me for the next two months by my turned out pockets.. JEESUS. I thought Barney was bad. Best part of the trip was the 20 dollar a night camping at the Gulf Islands Seashore in Pensacola.. I wanted to ride on that sand soooo bad.. smooth for miles.. well.. I am getting back to work on my mission about the property in Baywood/Grangeville again tommorrow. I will make one last stab at a series of phone calls before having to drive to the parish seat and do some clerk of court research.. I hate to have to do that.. I will keep yall up to speed. I also have a one day trip planned to TheDunes next Sunday. A bud of mine just finished installing about 3k worth of engine mods on his Banshee, and he wants to see how it is gonna run..
Did yall ever come up with a way to spot the other members of the group at The Dunes... I remember a ribbon or something on our flags.. yall let me know.

Shane

I didn't get to ride this weekend and i won't get to ride for a while. last week me and two of my friends got pulled over for riding in my subdivision. They ran checks on all our bikes and mine came up reported stolen two years ago. So they took it away and they are going to investigate the guy who sold it to me.

Swftball, That bits. Have you heard anything about it yet. Stay on top of them or they will drag there feet. Call everyday until you hear something.

Bad, we use logging tape. Its a 1inch to 1 1/2inch wide elastic tape. You can pick it up at any hardware store or Wal-mart. Just tie it underneath your flag.

Been in riding mode for the last couple of weeks until my bike went down. But hopefully it wont be down long. Does anyone know a place in Lafayette or Baton Rouge where we can have a sit down and talk about our ideas. I figured either of these cities would be centrally located for the meeting. Let me know.

Anyone went to the dunes this weekend? I don't plan to go back to Halloween.
