I live 45 minutes away from pismo. By Labor day weekend they had alot roped off. Some friends of mine were just there last weekend, and they have it roped of a little bit after pole 6.

The drag strip is still open though

If you haven't been to the old track in Beaumont, its really hard packed - like concrete. lots of trails, just watch out for the trash. last time I was there the remenance of a party was shattered all over the two table tops, and out in the flats. It is a little rough on the quad (the hardpack), but lots of jumps, trails and its free. Been there a few times, sort of lonely though. not many quads out there.

Faves are many...both sand and hard packed. Live in the hi dez, so it's faster to get to a riding area. All time has to be Hungry Valley. Raced the Rap on just about every MX track in Socal (one of the props of being a fireman). It's a different world on the track.
Haven't heard anything new about the riverside SVRA...takin their time, but if they were shutting one down, it would have happened yesterday!

Hey Nuke....what boat?? Chicago 86-89 MM2 (A ganger) Haz
