Default Anywhere near Chicago I can ride?

Just bought a new Rincon and now I need a place to test it out. I have a place to ride in central IN but I can't make the trip for the next 2 weeks. I want a short daytrip to put this bad boy through it's paces.... Let me know...

Sounds Great Sean!
I moved out here about 6 years ago. Just got my 1st ATV this weekend. Let me know the names of those streets and maybe I will see ya there!! I live by Randall and Miller (just north of Algonquin rd). Any place I can ride will be great! I work on Tuesday so I can't make it to Sugar Grove. If you give me directions I may take Wednesday off and head up there with the wife... Later and thanks so much!

Just north of Freeport, IL in Wisconsin is the Lafayette county (cheese county) trail system. That isn't too far from where you live. Since you live in Illinois, you have to register the machine in Wisconsin to ride our trails though.

alright sorry it took so long but ive had some buster azz days at work lately
anyways here the directions
take algonqin rd west to Square Barn RD (2nd stop light after algonqin) make a left
take that to Reserve dr and make a left go down the road to you see a old house on your right (first thing youll see on your right)
just behind the house youll see a path take the path. It winds around but leads there. Also since its been raining you might want to bring a 4x4. my friend that showed me the spot said that people sometimes park on the road then ride. there is another way to get back there but i forget how but once your in there explore and youll find the other way to get in there. Now on a good note that place you say thats in central IN is called the badland great place to ride i ride there 2 to 3 time a month ill be going in a week or two so maybe we can go together. if you need directions just let me know and just so you know it is a legit 3hour ride 3hour ride 3 hour ride (sorry trying to be funny haha) later

Sean

Thanks for the info Beanz! Any idea who owns the property? That’s only 5 min from my house. I will take a ride over there Sunday morning. I spent all day today riding the gravel back roads by my parents’ cottage in Monticello. Had a blast and got very muddy with all the flooding going on. I will be out of town the next two weekends after next. So I won't be able to make it to badlands. But I do have good news, I got in touch with a buddy of mine and he has a place to ride in Gurnee. Once I get directions I will share them with you... I also want to try Silver Lake (I can taste the sand already) this summer; maybe we can get a group to go some time in August. Later and thanks!
