Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Sounds like a good time. Myself and my daughter (11) might just have to go. Any lakes very near by? I'm thinking about hauling the seadoo also, if I can fit all 3 on one trailer? I would be camping, no trialer .

Thanks for all the info, I will think about it for a day or so and see what info I can dig up on the area.

Sandlakes explorers, the sites U are staying at look to be on the West side of the campground, do those have ocean views and winds or are there trees seperating the sites from the beach?
Cheech,

The campsites are all tucked back in a bit from the beach so no romantic beach views if that's what you're hoping for
No romance. just heard about the wind and blowing sand off the beach and was curious if that happened at the spots on the west side.
We couldn't get 17 and 18 anyway so we are in 27 and 29 just a little inland from U all.

We would be able to hit Coos Bay (Horsefall or Spin Reel) the weekend of October 2nd and 3rd or October 16th and 17th due to work schedule.

Can anyone else make it one of these weekends?
Ok... just got the official "Maybe" on October 16th and 17th... for Coos Bay. I'm plannin' on going... I'd rather stay at Horsefall if possible.

Been riding up in Randal most of the year but they just posted signs this last weekend no ATVs. Got a number to call so Ill give that a shot to see about getting permits.
Hey there. I Read most of our post where you metion the posting of no ATV's.

I wouldn't imagine they would post all the official trails up around the Blue Lake area for no riding.
Do you know if they did post up there?
If you don't know where that is, it is up the FS 23 road from Randle.

I would think they are posting the areas people where people ride off the trails.
Seems the FS is actually starting to close the Forest to "Cross Country" travel. Which is eventually going to happen on all the NF land.

I doubt very much they have permits to ride motorized vehicles anywhere it is posted no riding.
But let me know what you find out.

Good Luck
