Default Puget Sound Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

New to ATVing. We go to Waddell for camping and ATVing. We are going this Friday, hopefull there will be some camp sites left. Do you mainly stick to the forest service and logging roads or do you also ride the trails? We are interested in meeting more people with our hobby. We moved here within the last year and have recently got into ATVing. All of you sound like you have lots of fun.

Troy, WELCOME!

I'm new to this myself (having purchased my Quad in May) I've ridden mostly at Capitol Forest, at the rock candy staging area, and I've been to Moses Lake

This thread has introduced me to some great people! and we have met a couple times for rides with up to 11 quads at a time! other times its just been a few of us.

Look up SmokeEater70, he's down in the Oly area, and it appears, that when the first rain comes, and the dust in down, he'll be out of his backYard again

Look forward to riding with you, and tell us all what your riding!

Bill

No more back yards ride for me.. The grass is NOT holding up to tires... Soon my wife will be mad at me for tearing it up so I have stop.

Still doing the "rain Dance" in Oly!

Whats with all you rain dancers out there. LOL Dust isnt so bad. Heck, I was riding in t-shirt and shorts ( i know, wheres the protection). Got back to the truck, washed down a bit and changed clothes. I'd like a bit of rain too, but theres too much riding to get in when the riding is available. Dont forget, Tahuya, Capital Forest and others are closed 1/2 the year. So, Ill put up with some dust. Ive even had the bandana's along just in case, and havent used them yet. Alot has to do with the size of the group too. The larger the group, of course the more spaced out you'd have to be to keep the dust under control. Can you believe it. Here we are in Washington, and we cant even get enough rain to keep the dust in place. Another 6 weeks and it'll be 6 months of rain. Its Evans Crrek this Saturday and then after that , who knows. But, we should try to get one more group outing together before the season is over.

Welcome Troy, I myself just got my quad in July and haven't had the pleasure of riding with any of the gang here cause I did not find this forum until a few weeks ago and then my quad is in the shop. I got it out last week and will be going to eastern Washington this coming weekend but after that I am going to try to make it on a ride when a few other go so I can meet people.

Today was the first day of school (try 5th, 6th, and 7th graders all in one room!) and it was completely nuts! I've been hibernating, catching up on all the work I put off while playing this summer. But, will up for a ride probably around the 20th. I'll be ready for a sanity break by then.
