The swingarm and shock are back on, took everything apart cleaned and repacked. The top shock mount was disgusting, dry as a bone, that mount squeaked from the day I got the bike. Pulled the bushings out, rotated the sleeve inside, lubed the heck out of it, ah, what a difference, perfecto.
I have to use same size filter, such as stock because of the oil filter, water pump cover, the price you pay for the shiney stuff. Well hopefully have it finished tomorrow, just got alot of polishing and wiping down to do, like with that diaper, lol!!!
What pipe did you get, did you do anymore modifications to the airbox? How abouts your rejetting?

pro design intake, left lid on, cut the rubber flanges, gytr slip-on, dyno jet kit, swingarm skid(new), torch lights (stock replacement), brakes all around, rear rotor, Renthal handlebars, 12 tooth front sprocket, chain, e-brake eliminated, msr clutch lever, and maybe a steering stabilizer and steel braided brake lines in the near future. (along with the 1way)
Its almost ready for the rocks again

Had a great ride today...
Nothing but "green fields", no dust, no other riders, no dust, very qiuet, no dust, close to home, no dust, no mud, no dust, kids had fun, no dust, and didnt get too hot.. Did I mention that I didnt get dusty?
We rode the quads round tha back yard.. I know its not as good as getting out in the woods.. But I dont like dust..
Doing the "rain dance" in Oly!

Well, another ride in the books. Roberta, my youngest son and I did Tahuya today. 26 miles worth of trails almost nonstop. We did the Tahuya River trail of 11.5 miles. And the picked up the Mission Creek trail back to the staging area, another 6-7 miles. Then of course, if you know me, I had to do the running up and down the logging roads just to get a breeze to cool me down. The trails at Tahuya seem to be the best overall of all the trails we've been on. Ot seems like each riding area has its own specialty. Capital Forest, you can use the logging trails and ride faster. But Tahuya theres just a heck of a lot more trails. I want to go back over next year when the Rhodies are in bloom cuz we were riding through them for the past 2 weekends and I can just imagine the colors of the forest when they are blooming. Well, now where did she put the iboprofin. Next week is Evans Creek again. Then the week after, who knows. Gotta ride while the ridins' good

Well I haven't been riding I guess in about 3 weeks, it seems once I started doing alittle maintenance on the quad, starting on the rear it kinda turned into a complete tear down project. All pivot points where zerks were not located, disassembled, cleaned and lubed, and now the front shocks are off and getting their maintenance, clean, lube ect.
Cut my airbox completely off, except for the front of it, rejetted, valve adjustment, getting ready for the Sandlake trip on the 20th. The new larger tires took away from my low end, so went bigger on the rear sproket to gain it back. It's been quite a joy to spend this time with the quad, quite a learning experience.
Now I have ordered a new airbox, will arrive in a week, that will be the dirt ride setup, and what I have on now will be the sand setup. I know many would say, just get out there and ride it, but I've had the joy of riding for a year, now is the joy of learning about what I'm riding, the in's and out's and what makes her tick. You be good to her, she'll be good to you.
Hope to see everyone of the trails soon
