I've known Chris since before he went the cop route. He was still being a Para-medic at Mason County Medic One. One of the truely nice people on this earth. Tell him that Fred and Barb Bodin said "Hi" and he's on her list for not staying in touch. He will probably get pale and start to tremble in fear knowing he's on her bad side.

I mean it's a new year and the holidays are behind us. Brett was cool about me having a gun though, just looked at my CWP and said don't reach for the gun.

 

That was last weekend and I've dropped the sleigh for a quick, well handling red car as the reindeer exhaust was getting to me.

Yeah, you can't ever be to careful on traffic stops. They are the most dangerous part of the job. If somebody is good enough to say yes they have a gun, they are probably ok. But you never know and have to be very cautious.
Although it is to bad he didn't yank you out of the car and do a strip search right there in the middle of the highway. Except, that sight might have scared the he!! out of passerby's and they would have SPED off.

Hell, I was the least of his worries. The wife was next to me and if you want dangerous, she's it. An unbelievable pistol shot and not at all shabby with a rifle or shotgun, she also has a thing for edged weapons and has been to tactical school to learn to cheat even more. On top of that she could always turn him into a toad. So the strip search could go real bad real fast. Hell the last time I was yank from a car was about 38 years ago, at 190 lbs it was easy but a 275 I thing he better get real pumped up first. No one but his partner showed up at the stop. So he would have had to drag (hehe) it out and would have missed a drunk or two.

You still haven't said when you are gonna come over and ride. Are you dodging the question? I could get hurt feelings over this.
