Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

For in doors Oakwood and RMC is O.K. but small and they are somewhat close by. For out doors Longview and Port Angles are the next two tracks about 1 3/4 hours to Port Angles and 1 1/4 hours to Longview. Both tracks are good Port Angles is a little more technical. Both tracks SUCK when they are really wet. But I think Port Angles dries up faster. Longview is all clay and doses not drain well.

A little farther past Longview is Woodland the track is nice nothing too technical but they only run races on the weekends so no practicing. The next Quad race is 12/14 starts at noon.

Seems like most of the tracks have pretty limited hours and mostly have practice only before races. I was hoping for some open track time instead of jumping right into racing.

Think we'll hit 1000 by the end of the year?! I'm sure we'll try!!
This was a month and a half ago and thirty something pages back. Why was I worried?? I should have asked if we'll hit 2000!

I'm considering getting nerf bars for my KFX700, anyone have a favorite company? I'd like to get something economical, but I also want very good quality....any help would be great. I hope to maybe be able to ride with some of you folks here soon.

I've found good prices for nerf bars, bumpers, etc. at Rocky Mountain ATV. DG seems to be good quality from what I have seen. The thing to watch out for is the interface between the nerf bar and the heel gaurd.

for nerfs i have used both graydon and DG i liked the DG better, the graydons were used when i got them, i bent them in a race at horn rapids ORV, they also bent the footpeg. i replaced them with a set of DG nerfs, bolted up fine on my LT250R.... they mounted up better IMO, if they got bent it wouldn't bend the footpeg too. different brands mount up differently, aluminum is better than steel IMO(steel will rust after getting scarred up) and for safety, nets with smaller holes between the straps is better( look for more straps).... less chance your foot will get tangled in them in the event of a bad crash... look on ebay too.

I think I'm gonna give the ProArmor nerfs a try. They have integrated heel protectors and look pretty sturdy. I'll give an installation report once I get them installed.

Don't overlook AC propegs. They are of good quality and value. Big pegs and nerfs cost more apiece than they do.

Does anyone know how to hook-up a Pro Design kill/tether switch to a Raptor? Those are the worst directions I've ever seen! It doesn't help that I'm a wee bit slow either. I've had this thing for 3 months now and just came across it in the garage and would like to hook it up.

fyrefyter there is a track in smokeypoint/arlington which is north of everett about 20 minutes so about 2 hours from puyallup. it is ran by lynnwood motoplex and it is fully indoor track. they have practice all week, with races on friday and saturday's. tuesday is a school thing. but they have open practice all week. i have been there a couple time, it is more of a bike track but they do let quads go out, just harder for the quads!!!!
but if you want more info let me know!
