Your bumper sticker of the day, today, should be the bumper sticker for every day!
Mine says "Army Dad" also "My son is in the Army" and "US Army Cavalry" and "Keep my soldier safe"
I have a few things on the back of my truck, from stickers to ribbons.

Wingdude. you shouldnt have no worries with ramps across the rails. what everyone neglected in their calculations is your tires are settin on the freakin bedrails! or real close. It dont take a hole lotta stregth to support a load cantelevered 1' from the column. plus the ramp buckling that was mentioned before the ramps can buckle they either have to break your bolts or bend the rails of the box in. Farmer engineering 101. if you wanna air in the side of caution like Skillz suggests. have a couple pieces of angle welded to the ramps at the interior dimension of the box and a cross member between and you could park a geo metro on your bed rails
HAHAHA boy farmer engineers can be so backwards. anyway. Its a short span with the load veryclose to the supporting members. (cantelever would be if you tires went on the other side of the rail)
if ya wanna feel real securce put a 4x4 column in the middle and cut your span to 4'

So what are the non-Moses riders doing this weekend? Not everybody is going over to Moses, so what are the local ride plans? Surely someone is riding somewhere.

The ramps are very solid. Also the angle of the load, I know I can't ride up that angle, but a winch would work. How to mount a winch that moves from side to side without much fuss.

I am not worried about he ramps holding, more of what it will do to the bed rails. I think it will be solid, just looking for suggestions.
