Hey all, well we are almost halfway done with the legislative session. There is a big deadline on Wednesday when bills have to pass their house of introduction. When that passes, my life will get a whole lot easier. I got some big wins on Friday. A major priority bill passed the Senate. It has an easy road in the House and looks like it will get enacted. This will be the first big win in my new job. Second, it appears from all my sources that a bad bill that I've been trying to stop, may be dead. I'll not give up until Wednesday, but that would be big relief to have that bill stopped.

With these two priorities out of the way, my life gets a whole lot better as the remaining bills are much lower priorities and should require less work. That means that riding is back on the table for RidinLCWA in another couple of weeks. My new front frame is in transit to me right now and should get here next week. I should be able to get the Vinson back together next week and have it ready to ride very soon. The next step is to get my Warn bumper so that those darn trees don't do so much damage when the jump in my way.

I'm hoping to make my big comeback at the WA ATV Assn Fun Run at Capitol Forest in April. Is a group from the forum getting together for that trip? If so send me a PM or e-mai, I'd like to hook up with the group again.

Also, check out the Washington ATV Legislation Forum for an update on the bills in Olympia affecting our sport. There is a lot of good news. Some bad bills have either been stopped or altered to be acceptable. The good bills are still moving.

Finally, I believe there is a big ATV rally coming up in Olympia soon. If you're coming down, PM me and we could connect.

Next Ride trip?

Hey guys, haven chatted for a while. I try to watch every couple of weeks for new ride trips but haven’t seen any. I think I just missed one but I just got back from Cozumel last week and started a new job this week. YEAH! I'm no longer unemployed...

Anyhow, when is the next trip planned? Now that I have insurance again I'm ready to climb some more of those hills [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
