Cindy wants to know how many ladies are going to Rock Candy. She doesn't want to be one of the only ladies riding with the guys. I don't know why not.
If it's not pouring down rain she may go.

The trails at Rock Candy are different than Reiter, there's more elevation gain and switchbacking, not as many mud holes or deep water crossings. I've seen young kids ride those trails with no problems while I was flipping my quad over in the same spots. With this many people going, it'll be a slow go and if anybody has a problem, there will be plenty of helping hands

My wife is going as long as it's not pouring down rain also.

Secret to riding in the NW, if it's raining, wear rain gear, if it's cold, wear wool. But for your question, maybe alittle rain early in the day, partly sunny in the afternoon, low 60's.

Originally posted by: RealtorRider Raj, Come for the morning (looks like a 9 - 9:30 start after an 8Am breakfast) we normally break the ride into a morning run, sometimes 2, then lunch and a 3rd ride, or however it best works. Alot of times the 1st run is short so we can come back and pick up any stragglers that arrive late at the staging area then if you need to go early, you can make that decision after lunch
Well, we haven't talked one bit about what route we'll take. I personally like the North Rim#1 (Powerline) to Molly Porter #3 connecting to either Rock Candy East or if we feel alright connecting back to North Rim#1 heading down the steep, switchback side. Onefly knows exactly what I'm talking about, I hope. Also, you can't ride from the staging area to the top of the powerline, it's washed out for good now, as we found out on our last ride, remember, Bing, Onefly, Bear, RidinLCWA and whoever else was there.
I don't mind a very short ride while waiting for others, but when we head out to really ride, I'd like to make it one long nice trail ride, no logging roads

howdy folks.

So I flaked out on TP and Bing Sunday morning. i am sure y'all got my message.
You didn't flake on me, you called and said you were "out". That's the way it should be. You didn't flake on Mark, he wasn't there.
How was it though? Muddy I am sure.
There wasn't much mud, the rain washed it away to fast. We were soaked all the way thru by the end. The air was fairly warm, though so it wasn't bad.
