Hi everyone,
Just wanted to give you all an update on Pacific Raceways...
I got to sit in on a meeting yesterday and check out the track. The track looks sweet! They have done some much needed improvements to the track and facility. There are some decent jumps, a double section and a rhythm section...Everything on the track is do-able for a quad. Plus if you are not comfortable with some of the jumps, they can easily be rolled through. And....The whoop section (aka: the kidney killer) has been removed!
The track is set up as a very wide and fast track, but the first turn after the holeshot is a bit narrow. So you better work on your holeshot boys and girls.
There will be over night camping allowed on the 14th. The gates will be open at 3pm, and close at 10pm. There is a $15 camping fee.
If you are not camping, the gates will open at 6am on Sunday the 15th.
We are expecting a very large turnout for this event so....There is NO pit riding except to and from the gate, no alcohol or drugs are allowed, and please remember to pick up after yourselves.
The success of this event is very important to future quad events held at this facility, including a quad only W.O.R.C.S. race that is very close to being confirmed for next season.

Toyhauler, that could be it. Hey Larry, If ywa wanna know what he's getting just PM me. Ill tell ya...........NOT!!!!!!!!
Cant wait to get down in that sand. Never beed there and have been looking forward to it for quite some time.
A few weeks ago, Jim brought up an Easton trip. I didnt here one comment about it. Whats up with that?
Mark, if you DO happend to talk to Bud, try to find out if theres a lot of snow on the higher trails yet. Easton is a great trip because with the price of fuel these days, some of us can do over and back and still have a bit of fuel left over without having to buy any.
Besides that, group trips (campouts) are just as much fun as group rides to me. Sitting around camp BS'ing beats yard work any day.
Well
off to da job I go!!
Sigh
