I have looked on ReserveUsa and if its only Berta and I going down, I think I can get a spot at Driftwood. But then its always more fun when you have more people going. We are either going to do the last week of July or the first week of August. And Sand Lake may be where we end up going too. We just havent sat down and looked into it too much yet.

Our group campouts are always good for a few memories. So, I look forward to them each and every time we go on one.

I called the Chamber of Commerce in Winchester Bay and got a camp site with dune access for Dunefest. They might have a few more, give 'em a call if you need a site.

 

Sean, Discovery Bay campground has access to Winchester dunes but you need to reserve about 3 years in advance for Dunefest.

The campsites for dunefest are through the chamber of commerce. They reserve a block of sites from the local campgrounds and assign them to people for dunefest. I registered a few weeks ago, at that time said they were going to request more campsites from the campgrounds.

I don't recall the name of the campground they put me in off the top of my head. I'll look it up and let you know.
