Ray OFC dont ride in the water There are other mochines equiped for that sorta riding.. I have some Parts in my Garage that are begging to be installed on my rap. and it will be even less likely to see water at that point. Im gonna get another quad to ride in the mud n puddles. The rap is gonna be strictly a fair weather quad. you know when your sweeter than suga like OFC you could melt n the rain

Well hope ya'll are sleepin good Im about to Check for holes in the backs of my Eyelids. Catch ya'll when they sun comes back around

Originally posted by: rynokron hey guys, i'm a new raptor 660 owner. i was wondering if you local guys are running w/ air box lids, or cutting holes in them or leaving them alone? i am running a full yosh pipe, dj stage two and a pro flow w/ k&n and outerwear. any tips? pm me if you like...thanks, ryan
Rynokron,

Welcome to the thread

I don't run an airbox, I have my K&N filter attached directly to my carb via a L&A Airbox Eliminator setup, I have a full Yoshi pipe. Have had zero problems with water and mud getting into the carbs.

Mornin' Jim and Larry, although you're long gone by now.
Mornin' PSAR

Wingnut, what are you doing going to bed at 3:00am? Don't you have to go to work in the mornings?

Good Morning Bill! I took the Raptor out for a short ride last night,I still can't believe the difference the HMF slip on, Air filter and air box mod & jetting made in it She's a blast to ride now. If your at work Friday I may come down and see you about that quiet core you mentioned. Have a good one

Good MOrning PSAR

WOW LOTS of chatting going on here yesterday LOL, said there was only 1 new reply YEAH RIGHT there was 4 pages, stupid email

Well WE GOT A NEW MOTORHOME WHOOOHOOOOO it's SOOOOOO nice & MUCH nicer than our other one!!! Come to the conclusion it's 2" wider & about 3.5' longer MAKES A HUGE difference I'm telling you!!! Got it all wiped down yesterday now the fun comes.....................tranferring ALL the stuff out of the old one blahhhhhh guess it's time for a good spring cleaning to get the summer gear in there anyway!! I'll be posting some pics of it soon!! It runs GREAT drives WONDERFUL!!!!! We're pretty happy so far, one bad thing the fridge isn't working on electric works on propane, that'll work for now I think we will be switching for the one in the old motorhome which we just bought brand new about 2.5 yrs ago!! Ron is dreading that BUT ti's either do that or spend another $700 on a new one!! Gotta take the BIG windows out to do them so it IS a pain in the azz.

ON another note we will be camping @ darrington next weekend(fathers day) think i'll be going up Thurs. afternoon we'll see as it gets closer!!

OH yea BTW we are looking for a 400ex(sorry Bill) for $3K or less for the boy wonder if anyone knows of any for sale
