I got a new strategy for Aug. 7th... I'll be racing in the Vet 30+ class. Only 3 racers last time... so I'm guaranteed a Top 5 finish. I just need to order some parts for the preddy... I also need some new parts for me too... starting with a bigger set of cajones. I need to take those doubles.

 

Id suggest you dont try and hurry that goal along to fast... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] stick to trying to air out table tops and what not first.then when you know exactly how your mochine is in the air go for it.

OFC is 100% right! Some of those doubles at PR are pretty nasty. The downslopes on some are very steep and can get you in trouble if you don't get 'em right. Just be careful and take your time.

The 30+ class is a good class. All the racers in there are experienced and know how to hold their line, unlike some of those C class guys who are absolutely insane and all over the track. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

It's up to the government owning the properties. You would need to check with USFS and DNR which roads are designated for riding. I have not heard that they have implemented the new law yet, but it's worth checking into.

Well, you can count me out. I rode up there last year during the Jeep poker run, not fun at all. No parking, no passing.

I also went the following week, was not too busy, but you could only ride about half of the trails. The Jeep drivers tore up way too much. It was also raining during the poker run, so that didn't help.

I am still plan on going this weekend if Josh still wants to go, otherwise I will just hang out at home.
