Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

The SALVAGE OPERATION (Beverly Hillbillies, Scene 2 Act 2 )

I remembered being told about a NAPA a few miles down the street, so into the trunk went the front half of the drive-line and OFF I WENT!!!!

stopped at the Texaco for Directions and headed SOUTH!!.... Made it about a 1/4 mile and SPIED a Junkyard / tow service on the left called "TOWING"!,...... Actually it was Mikes automotive Shop!!. The 2 guys there said "come on in", looked at what I had going, pulled the old bearing off, Cleaned up the drive line and set the new bearing (NO WAIT!) and all for $20 (IF YOU NEED HELP AT BEVERLY, YOU NOW KNOW WERE TO GO!!!

I'm back to feeling good again!!!

and...... It mounted back on, yeah!!!!, (the shop guys gave the little details on how to do it right!)

Believe it or not, the truck and trailer made it home by 6:30 tonight, (only a 2 1/2 hour repair job!!)

AM I LUCKY OR WHAT!!!

I was at RMC when the accident happened... i was riding on another section of the track at the time & did not see what or how it happened exactly, his name is aaron & he rides a c-dale.... last i checked(friday) he was in serious but stable condition... but still unconscious. it's sad they will only let quads on for FT practice now.

Went out to tahuya today and I talked to a DNR guy.

First of all, they have NEW TAHUYA MAPS up at dnr.gov for the first time since '96.
I havent checked it out yet and am out of toner.

I talked to him about trail width and their 50 inch trail width rules among other things.
He was a nice guy and had tons on info to offer.

He Marveled at the new and improved monster. After he drooled on my bike, I asked him to wipe it off.

If the web seems to be in a kind-of "Brown-Out" state, it's because I'm sending KingoftheRaptor a 20gb file...

Bing,

Any chance on getting a group calendar on this forum??? It's getting hard to keep track of dates.

I think YoDaddy is planning a Moses Lake trip 1/17... How about 1/10?
Bill you up for it??? You could add it to the Phone contact list...

After many ideas, as posted last night, I was going to get the trailer back today with my brothers truck (which has no wireing ) and go after the truck later. We needed the trailer for Christmas guests

Then..... Made it to the local NAPA part store and talked to the counter guy (Steve)that I've known for a long time and also showed him the pictures I took of the damage.

EASY! he said

So for $35 I got the carrier bearing I needed and decided I knew enough to fix it (was that a good idea?)

So forget my brothers truck, I'm gonna fix the CHEVY!! (I don't need no stinkin Fords! , at least today)

So I got in the T-Bird (oh yeah, I needed a Ford after all) and grabbed Marci and headed back to Beverly HILLS THAT IS!!!!

Took off the Drive line and looked at the bearing and thought, How am I going to get that bearing off??.........

added HILLS THAT IS!!!!

The SALVAGE OPERATION (Beverly Hillbillies, THE PLAYERS )

OK everyone, You know now who all the Forum Players are

MY THREE SONS, Yam, King and Cheech
The white knight, 2mnyToyz and Tammy
Then HappaRap, BigDaddy and NWQUADFREAK.

But the non-forum people,

Bob, the guy who owns the only stick built house on the approach to the ORV area (he has 40 acres there) He offered, and then insisted that I park in his Driveway / Parking area to keep the truck and Trailer safe. He had no reason to do this, Just a great guy!!
He kept Marci warm in his house while i was under the truck, and the coffee was good and hot!

The 2 mechanics, also great help and great guys, they didn't have to be so helpful!!

I'm so LUCKY!!
