Old PSAR thread - please see the new one
Carl, thanks for the info
I keep going the way I am and I'll be a candidate for the Heavy weight class. Tipped the scales at 2 bills this morn
I gots me some repair work to do to day. I had me a big mac attack at North Bend and pulling out of icky mics I bottomed out my tongue jack and ripped it and the bracket right off the tonque of my new quad trailer To make matters worse it tweaked the tonque a little where it broke the welds loose from the bracket Upon close inspection this morning there was not much penetration on the welds so I'll be looking em all over real good and doing some grinding, welding and re-painting.

Hey all. As you can see, I am a newbie to PSAR. The wife and I both ride. I ride a KFX400 and she rides a Polais sportsman. It's good to find some fellow area riders. Where are the hot spots for riding?

In ALL fairness, to make it OFFICAL we need to go to a DRAG STRIP with all the bells and whistle for drag racing.....OK that's where "RIDER ABILITY" takes place, IMO
If ANY of U are interested in what i mentioned above let me know, I'll check and see where a track close by is and then ALL BRAGGING rights go to the rider/quad that goes the rounds and finishes on top.......

Racing at florence will definately be a different animal since we'll have our quiet cores in. Uncorked, the preddy does well, but stop-up the exhaust and it's real noticable. I re-gear for the sand and quiet cores, so it will be slower when I'm out playin' around. Might think about scoping out a drag strip when nobody's lookin' and takin' out the quiet cores...
I'd be in for a race... go for 'dem braggin' rights. 4-stroke to 4-stroke... 450cc-700cc. Yes, that's right, gotta keep it semi-real. I respect sandbomber's machines, but it would be childs play for him. I think findin' a drag strip would be fun stuff. I'd like to know how well I can do with my reaction time. You thinkin' bracket racing, or side-by-side whomever crosses the line first?
Ahhh yes, 10:09 in the AM on this labor day weekend monday and I'm drinkin' down a double! Feels good to not have to go to work today!
All this chatter bout drag racin' makes me think......................mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........ combined weight I think is the answer. 300 pound pilot, 350 pound race mo-chine=650 pounds. Cool, I can race a stock DS with a 6 month old rider!LOL (I'd still get beat)
I gots to get to the garage majal and install minimadman's new nerf bars sometime today, what everyone doing today? chillin, bbqin, what? where? wit who you doin it wit?

I'm just a lil chit-hole racer, I couldn't let all that smack talkin' go un-checked... didn't plan to beat anyone... but it does feel good . I'd say it's a draw between Randy, Joel's and my machines. Whomever could keep the front end down got the win. The preddy did pull away at the top end, but that was at the end of the strip. Draw an actual line and the game changes... If we were racing to Everett (like I did with Joel once) then the preddy would prevail. I just had to reply to the Come Get U Some....

I feel the same as Carl. I just love the side by side Racing. The Drag strip thing would be fun. See who cuts the best light and such. 300 ft. would be ideal.
Bout the only thing I'm going to do between now and florence is a gear change and tweakin the fuel map so that 700 pulls in 5th like it should. I don't think I'll have a sound problem the way I'm set up right now and I'm in no big hurry to run out and buy the first full system on the market. What I really like is not flat drags but draging up the hill. It's a total blast to drag up comp hill at florence Pure adrenilan rush for me

Had a aww-sum weekend at florence spanking with the bomber bike!!! Got the right combo with it now, the 12mill is the perfect motor for that frame took down everything there Hap 14mill just never got enough tire for it but next trip we will, oh I forgot he is taken it down to rebuild with the green plastics and lighten up the frame. Kid never happy with a perfect bike
The DS was a rush for sure!!! Talk about a big group of people after 1 nos run LOL I took out the clutch after a few runs so the lock up is in order that is coming on my new motor!!!!!!!
And 2mny thanks for the respect I will let off on the trottle when Im around the predapuss from now on so ya look faster LOL Ya the man Rollie I think it would be a blast to all go to the track and have a blast!!!!!
