Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

It was nice when they grew up and moved out on their own. Now they'll both be here for the weekend. First time since last Christmas since we've had them home together! And I am so looking forward to it.
Oh, I'm talking about my son's, Bobby and Nate. I pick up Bobby at the airport in 3 hours (haven't seen him since Christmas)and Nate is already home.

Larry, to answer your question from a few pages back.
Nate is still based at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He is home on leave until the 16th then he flies back to Fort Carson and leaves there on the 19th for Kuwait and then Iraq
for a 1 year deployment.

Yes, the exhaust wrap works beautifully. Just wrap from front to back, the end of the stock heatshield back to the beginning of the muffler. We used 2" pipe wrap and overlapped in all the way back 1". I don't think I even used 8 feet of the stuff for that section.I thought I kept toasting my raingear on the header under the heat shield, but it was actually that little exposed piece of pipe above the right heel guard in the back and under the seat. I just left the header under the stock heat shield alone. Haven't scorched a single piece of gear since I wrapped mine thanks to MB's genius. Not nearly as expensive as trying to replace your riding pants or raingear every other ride.
That sounds like what i have to do then. Where do i get the exhaust wrap from?? I'm assuming that the barn has it but does anybody else carry the wrap?? Looks like i will be wrapping my exhaust on Sunday, so i don't burn my pants while i'm at Winchester over Thanksgiving.
Check Auto parts stores, like Napa or Autozone too. I know MB got it for the barn, but he might be able to tell you where else to look. He da mayun. Parts guy w/ the hookup.

Is this correct for the ride and breakfast crew?

Unsure about breakfast. I have been working way too much. I got home at midnight last night and back to work at 5am this morning. That is how my whole week has been. I have a work thing to go to tonight and then I have to be back at the shop ASAP to get another truck back from a job.

I am thinkin that I will want/need the extra hour sleep on Saturday.
