The Vinny is a good quad. the first thing you will need is better tires and then you'll most likely break the CV's. I broke both of mine and so has Kevin. We have both upgraded them since. Kevin just got a heavy duty rebuild kit from Danny Walburn "thecvman" for less than $100.00 ea.
If I was to buy another quad it wouldn't be a Vinson, It dosen't have a locker.I would get a King Quad. I put a Detroit gearless locker in mine and in 4x4 it is a handful to steer, and it is locked all the time your in 4x4. that is great for mud but very bad for hill climbing. It wants to pull from side to side when climbing and you have to let of the throttle and lose momentum. My wife and daughter find the Vinny to be to big for them.
My daughter has a Kodiak 450. It is much smaller and more nimble than the Vinny. It also has a locker you can lock and unlock. Any time you want to ride either one let me know we'll set it up.
I'm Riding at Walker tomarrow.

Well, we just got back from filming today...we ended up going out to Tahuya instead of Moses because we couldn't get over the pass...we got some good footage and hopefully tomorrow we will get more!!!!
Bill, Marci, Josh, Todd...We'll see you guys there tomorrow morning around 10:00am!!! Anybody else wanna come out and play?
