i'm really surprised that exriders would not let you view that thread! can you get onto www.exriders.com? maybe you have to register to view it? i don't know.... anyways, i posted that on a number of bbs that one had the most response & discussion.
it 's definitely having people on the inside like bob & jeff that help make things easier. i know that being part of the right organization is key to help make things happen and showing the numbers at the tracks will make a big impression on the people that run them. i'd only found out about the race at OPMC a couple weeks ago when i was stopping in to graves motorsports to see what was up.... i'm sure that most of the other riders there were in the same boat on that.... we found out about a race with quad classes, and went. a perfect example about getting the info out. that's why i feel that joining a club that makes getting the info about all ATV events out atver's in the NW is important. i know that similar organizations are already in place in most other states, & i'm realy surprised that we didn't already have one here in washington
about OPMC & my quad.... i'm really curious what the reaction of some of the other quad guys was about me getting the 1st holeshot of the day... it must raise eyebrows seeing an unexperienced, out of shape guy show up on a off-brand bike & spanking seasoned racers out of the hole. the second start i missed a shift & wasn't as 'on the game'. i knew i didn't have a chance against them on the rest of the track... but it was still a blast, even just fighting for 4th place.
i'm really having a tough time deciding on which event to go to the 12th: OPMC vs quad fest, while the quadfest sounds fun & is an event dedicated to ATV's, i want to chase points at OPMC too... to do that, i'd want to hit as many races in the series as i could....
does anyone know if they will be making the track at PR any more quad frendly by then?

WOW two WORCS races in Washington that would be sweet. I wanted to go and watch the WORCS race at Washugal but I did my first race at Pacific Raceway's that weekend.
Nexy year I want to give it a try.

Congratulations on your own ID, and also doing that trail, those can be pretty tough. Have fun in California, even though you'll still be working, we'll go riding when you get back.
Dinger
I'll probably have to take that trail with you next time, this weekend is out, need to spend alittle time around the house.
Bill
Rode Friday-Monday, got back 1:00AM Tuesday morning, great time, sand was pretty chopped up from previous rain, but smoothed out. Only problem was broken chain on the last ride on the last day, need new chain and sprocket, oh well, no wrecks, rollovers, just a few tree branches in the face from the tree shots. Got some good ideals from other riders we met, time to extend the swingarm and more power.
Have a good week, talk at ya'll later, back to work.

when i heard that about the WORCS race i was really excited .... with one more round of the WORCS western series this close, it puts running the series within reason for more NW racers.... three more rounds & you qualify for series points. now i'll definitely try to hit 2 rounds of that series if that happens. if i can swing it, i'd love to hit some other rounds... if i can find someone to 'race pool' to split gas & expenses i'd do it. on top of that... getting to pre-run the new track has a big advantage!!!! that's also why i want to try the 'hangover' harescramble at washougal january 1st.

It must have been some type of glitch. I was able to go in there this morning and view the thread.
Well, I don't know about anybody elses reaction when you blasted by them on the holeshot, but I thought it was pretty cool!
Hopefully tomorrow I will have the first newsletter for the club finished. When it is, I will post the first edition here. I will also be starting an email list for anyone who wants to subcribe.
I'll post more later!

Hey everyone! How've you all been? I have been away for a while caught up in the "work" thing(sorry for dropping the 4 letter word in here). My plans for this weekend maybe falling through so I was checking to see if anything is happening this weekend... Anyone pounding the trails this Saturday or Sunday?

OK everyone, Thanks for your input on repairs to the right A-Arm on Michael's 2002 TRX 90
The best I've been able to do is $175 new (one California co. mentioned $145, but I need to confirm that)
I've called and e-mailed all over the country and cannot find a used one (I've also been watching E-Bay)
I most likely will order one tomorrow or Monday, so I can get his quad ready by the 10th of October to go riding!
I'd still take suggestions on finding parts!, then I'll be asking advise on putting it on!
thanks again
