Happa,
If nobody says they are going, why get up early?
Anyways, I think it is an understanding that folks are coming from all around and you don't want make everyone get up really early just to meet up. The trail traffic does suck though.

Bill...Im sorry to tell you but my two contacts did not get back to me on the a arm today like they said they would, however I will be buging them first thing Monday morning a I will let you know.
Also what year is your Blaster?? I have not had any problem with mine or the wifes as of yet, they are still pretty new but maybe a heads up for symptoms to look out for. (hpefully I didnt speak so soon)
Larry....you get up that early because as you get older your bedtime gets earlier, when you are young you tend to not go to bed on the weekends until early the next morning...
Please tell Rusty thanks for the tip on sing the super clean for cleaning up the bikes, it saved me some real time elbow straining.
Are you still up for Easton 10/10-10/12 or you doing the races at Pacific Raceways?

NWQUADFREAK. Thanks for the effort on the trx 90 a- Arms. My plan is to order from a California firm on monday by 11 AM. They offered me the A-arm for $145 (new) and explained that honda doesn't sell it just by itself, they include other parts that he says are over $65 in value
IF YOU HAPPEN TO FIND OUT ANYTHING MONDAY MORNING, fell free to call or e-mail me (I PM'd you with that info)
as for the Blasters, they're 2002's ( I said '02 in the earlier posting ) and I've read on this forum that the Blaster has had some brake problems over time, you should be OK since they also say that Yamaha fixed the problem with the '03 model (I'm still researching it)
Larry... Thanks for noticing the "break-it fix-it"
thanks All

There's nothing like being the first into the staging area, choice of parking, silence all around you, to enjoy what this beautiful area has to offer us, fresh morning dew on the dirt to keep the dust down, and the thought that you are laying down the first tracks.

It doesn't matter whether I go riding at Capital, Moses, Tahuya, Easton or Tim Buck Two, distance and miles traveled means nothing to me, I will always arrive at 7:00. I'm usually up by 3:00-4:00 everyday of the week, being a truck driver and traveling to Oregon, Canada and throughout Washington, you train yourself to get up early and get to whatever your'e doing early. And your'e right, traffic on the trails sucks mid day, it just gives me more ride time, I start at 7:00, stop at 4:00, I may not ride as fast as you young'uns, but I can ride just as long.
NWQUADFREAK
Early to bed, early to rise, well you know that old saying. We just have to stop more often for geritol breaks, or for those few, a smoke break. Actually I've been a early riser all my life, guess it's because my grandfather was a farmer, kinda bred into me. Rusty and I will be at Easton for a ride, not for camping, will be there Saturday, and just for you 6:00AM!!! I expect a good solid 10 hours of riding, will bring extra gas, the old men will ride till we fall apart, just kidding, looking foward to the ride, hope others can make it.

Right on, and all in that order. Are you going to Easton?

Easton is 17 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass, which is about an hour from here. We're gonna ride there the 11th, I know NWQUADFREAK is camping there, maybe along with others. I don't know who else is going. Right now I'm sure Troy and Steph will go, Rusty and myself, Jim and Geri, our other riding buddies are going. Gotta try out the new place, I believe it's like THE ROCK, logging roads and trails.
How about everybody else? Easton on the 11th, Jim has an 02 Limited Raptor, he likes to fly like you Bing, hehehe.

I've been to "Cle Elum", riding before. It got closed many years ago. Is this that same riding area with hill climbs like
"Grandfather" or "#9"? If this a different area could you please tell me about it. I am tired of the local riding and cle elum is about the same drive as Belfair or Capital Forest.

Roberta and I are planning on coming over to Easton probably on Satuday for the day. We went over to Tuhuya today. Several people I work with had decided to get into quads and they were camoing at Spillman Camp so we went for the day. I was more or less the trail guide since no one had done the trails there before. There were 6 quads and 5 bikes that headed out for what was to be about a 90 minute ride on the Overland Trail. Well, 3 hours later, we finally got back to camp. That'll teach people to listen to me for directions. Actually, the Overland trail was partially closed for logging so I had to improvise. As you can tell, we made it back. But they were beginning to refer to me as Gilligan. (a three hour tour, lol).
Bonehead, I didnt see any big green 700's out there today at Tahuya. Ill catch up with you on one of these rides.
Oh Larry, by the way, trees will not yeild to quads on the trail. whats with that? Good thing I hit it head on. Dented the grab bar in the front a bit. But its a bolt on, so its replaceable. LOLOLOL.

I've never ridden at Easton, NWQUADFREAK has ridden over there, and was the one who wanted to camp and ride there. I don't think it's the same place as Cle Elum, I also heard of a place between Roslyn and Cle Elum, called BullFrog something, I don't know the official name, something like that. I heard that closed a couple of years ago, I think it's the same place you're thinking about, but I could be wrong.

I forgot about Zukichick leaving for Cal, I have to work on the quad this week, sprocket, rear brake and lock nut are alittle loose, need to disassemble everything on the a$$ end, lube and tighten it all up. It would be great if you could ride at Easton on the 11th.
Nickli
I was forced to be trail boss on the last ride at THE ROCK, I spent more digging my glasses out of my pack to read the map. I lead the pack all day until Rusty, Ken, Jeff (Airraptor) and myself rode back by ourselves, then of course Jeff rode the crap out that 727, man that thing hauls a$$.
I've seen what those trees can do to a quad, that's why I try in stay out of them. Hope you can make it out to Easton, would love to ride with you again. I'm sure Jim and Geri are going, that will give Roberta a good riding partner.
NWQUADFREAK
How bout it, give us the scoop on Easton, looks like alot of people want to go for a day ride. I'm sure Rusty and I will be there early, you know how us old folks go to bed early, of course that's after we've taken our afternoon old man nap LOL.
