Sounds good to me
Any ideas on dates in August? I imagine reservations now would be a good idea since it's summer, plus, some of us have to ask for the time off and see if we can get it.

After checking out Driftwood's availability, I don't see where we can fit the new rig.

We need a minimum of 40 feet. What about Horsfall? They have some availability for the longer sites in April.

Karl, Tammy?

Bill?

Driftwood in April is WIDE OPEN! I don't see you having a problem finding a spot for a long rig.
I would do Horsfall in April but Cindy really wants to go to Florence then. Hey, if she wants to go to a certain dune, that's where I'm going! Because that means, I'm going duning!
Well I looked and every spot in driftwood that is big enough(the pull thru spots)is booked thru the month of april on the weekends ....so have fun you guys....we will ride elsewhere..
we are getting a new 5th wheel 40 footer with double slides and those spots we usually go to just are not big enough...heck we were way too cramped with the old trailer in those spots...that is unless I can get my dad to go so we can park in handicap..lol...

Probably towards the end of August. That is when the most spots are still available.

Capitol is open, you just ride the roads this time of year and not the trails. .
Did any of ya'll see that crap on the news last night.. The guy that lives right past the Rock candy staging area was spouting off about illegal qaud riding and crap in capitol forrest.. I dont get people.. If you move to a place where people ride motorcycles and shoot guns. YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO B!TCH ABOUT THE NOISE!!! IF YOU MOVE NEXT TO AN AIRPORT YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO B!TCH ABOUT THE NOISE.. you made the choice to move to that area, shut the FOCK UP and deal with it or move. The selfishness of one trys to ruin the enjoyment of the outdoors for many.

Huh.
49-57 are the pull through sites at Driftwood and all but a couple are available still for the whole month of April.
The sites marked with a wheelchair means they are wheelchair accessible, NOT reserved for wheelchairs users only. I called ReserveUsa to specifically ask them this last year.
That's fine if you want to ride elsewhere, just thought I'd throw it out there.

Sean,
Thanks for asking. Nate is doing good, they have been catching alot of bad guys lately out on night patrol. He says they use thier thermal goggles and sneak right up to them (within about 5').
We can tell he is a changed young man, which is to be expected.
It looks like right now he will be getting 2 weeks leave in May. They have changed the month a couple times so far so we won't really know until it gets closer to the leave time.

As far as when we are heading to Florence, not sure yet. But we are thinking of going down on a Friday and not coming back until the following Wednesday. That way we have the place pretty much to ourselves from late Sunday morning until we leave. I'll post what dates when I reserve.
