Yeah if thats what you saw there was probably a large female somewhere close by and they are almost as intolerant as bears when it comes to messing with their offspring. would've made a nice pair of slippers though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Saw a show on discovery about big cat attacks in PNW and Norcal. Pretty nasty temperaments and usually attack something thats moving and cause horrific damage if not death (Mtn bikers). So if i was to see one and he was giving me the stink eye and not running away....... bye bye kitty

 

It was an awful big cat for a baby. I dont think its momma was around. I was just sayin it wasnt that strawberry blonde cougar color im used to.. it was Dark and sorta spotted and BIG.

 

If i have a gun with me and i see kitty on my side of the woods its by by kitty.. they like fols, and calves and geese and chickens and such.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure when they lose their spots and lighten up. From the size you describe it was probably a large juvenile.

 

I like using big words like that, makes me sound like i know more than i actually do. But i still think a spotted kitty would make a nice pair of slippers.
