I've decided to put my airbox back on, the Rappy doesn't like sucking up water, it was sputtering 1/3 throttle for the first hour of the ride. It's officially a mountain trail quad and needs to setup for severe conditions. Guess it's time for a trip up to Walker Valley, right Jayna
Right! Walker Valley here we come. I still have access to the Wolvie. Might be a good time to borrow it. And thanks to Dennis, not Dave. I am horrid with names. It's funny I remember nicknames before actual names stick in my blonde head. SORRY Dennis. You were an awesome help navigating alternatives to all those obstacles.

Afternoon' PSAR,

Well Julie & I now own a pretty decent old Truck camper It's a 1985 Western Wilderness 10.5' fully self contained and every thing works. It also has a solar panel to charge the house batts for dry camping

So now when we go to the Dunes we won't have to Motel it any more and we will have our own place to hang if it turns nasty
CONGRATS now your offical campers......
Thanks Big D and Hap,

Now I just need to come up with a reasonable priced quiet little 1000 to 2000 watt gennie to take care of the 110 V needs. I also need to come up with a small flat panel TV that wall mounts and install a DVD player for the rainy day and night time entertainment needs then it will be home on the road

The camper is nothing special to look at inside or out but it's fairly clean and very solid. The guy was pretty liberal with the sealant around the doors and windows(read thick azzed beads) but at least he kept up on
the maintenance and so far thru yesterday and last nights rain I have found no leaks

AND all the great help and teamwork in trailblazing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc to navigate the obstacles we encountered. I, too, would do it again tomorrow in the same conditions. Although, I would prefer I had brought the right rain gear, that was my screwup. It was a good day.
Props to Dennis on the big ole ute, had a handsaw that cut through one tree and pulled it off the trail.

What!!!!!!! Someone to replace me? It would be scary to ride with someone who carries survivial gear on the local rides like I do.

Well, you folks have a good day, I'm off to the rain locker, then to a buddies race shop to do some "Vintage Racer" repair. He scored a 1980 CR80 Elsinore that needs a drain hole tapped
