If you happen to reserve a site, PSAR's in sites 36-45 or somewhere along those lines, you might want to try in get 34 or 35, unless Bing still has an open site that he reserved. I think we're gonna have more sites than overnighters. You need to shoot Bing a PM and find out if there's still one available.
just show up,,,,i know we are the only group there,,,,and possibly the only campers at all

the only reason we are really booking as a group is to iliminate what happened last year when a horse party reserved a spot right in the middle of us

we have our core sites reserved,,,and from the sound of it,,,we will be the only ones there

Bing,

Got your PM back, thanks for taking care of all of the reservations, just let me know how much the sites cost.

Now to decide which quads to bring.

the sites are $20 a night payable to the ranch (we usually just pay Bud when he delivers the firewood)

water, power, dump station near the bathrooms, showers,,,,,,they have a good deal on firewood too

Good evening PSAR. What a bute of a day it has been.

Didn't make it to the map store today. SWMBO and I spent the day shopping for a new dishwasher. There are a LOT of places that sell dishwashers in the Seattle area. Second stop we made was Sears. Anyone want to guess where we ended up buying one?

Gonna try to get to the map store tomorrow - - - - right after I put in the new dishwasher.

Anyone have much experiance with GPS units? Thinking about getting one or taking the one off the boat and making a second mount to put it on the quad. Any thoughts on what to buy or if the Garmin from the boat would even work on a land vehicle?
I have a pair of the Garmin RINO 120s, both GPS and radio in one unit and they tell each other where the other unit is when you use the radio. The new 520 models have a 14 mile radio range, mine only have 5 miles. You can down load maps into them and everything fancy like that.

OK, I do not know if we will make the Easton ride. If I/we decide to go, we will just show up. Have fun everyone.

Ok, let me ask you another question.

If we can get a spot, I'm fairly certain that we will show up. But I'm wondering which quads to bring. The Suzuki Z400's (which are more suited for good ol trail riding and they have skids) or our new Suzuki R450's (that don't have the low end like the 400's and don't have skids and are WIDE).
I am bringing both of mine. The z400 does great up there, but really the R450 will be just fine. There might be one or 2 short spots near the creek that slowing down across the rocks would be a good idea to avoid bashing rocks, but the creek itself won't be a problem. The trails are plenty wide enough to accomodate the R450 with few exceptions. JMHO.
Should be a good weekend.

Thanks for organizing the campsites Bing! It's probably a lot like herding cats. No crying here. As long as I don't have to try to ride my quad to work because I have to leave early(Although, if I could get away with it...), I am good anywhere I end up. A+ for effort.
It's going to be a beautiful weekend.

no problem Jayna, my pleasure

I am going to take a step back from this whole individual site reservation thing however. I've got the block reserved for us, so we wont get stepped on.

I am no longer in charge of any maps,,,,,,if i sent you one,,,,,please disregard it.

If someone wants to be in charge of a map,,,go ahead,,,put me in spot 42.
