Shelton sounds good to me, will give me a chance to look at another area to ride. What time do you want to meet and where?

Shelton is 15 miles north of Olympia on Hwy 101, 14 miles from where Hwy 8 and 101 split. You pass the split about 5 miles before you hit Rock Candy on Hwy 8. I don't have a favorite between the 2 and once I'm loaded up either works for me. If I have to choose I would pick Shelton because lately there has been no one there at all during the week. But Rock Candy works as well for me.

Nine at Denny's sounds fine to me. I love gormet food.
Anyone else feel like partaking of a leasurly ride with the old folks?

A 7mm is the caliber of choice for guys who can't shoot 30-30's and need more power. Real men shoot big bores (40 cal. and above and .458 and above for true believers). Or they use mouse calibers (.224ll and down) for the long range stuff with wimpy, get blown around by the wind bullets for a challenge.

The 6MM, .244 and .257's are kind of a middle class thing for learning on. Stuff you let the kids shoot.

Well, normally I shoot 405 grain bullets and nothing moves them off their trajectory. Sometimes I use 460, 500 and 525's and with any of them there is no doubt what you hit, it falls over.

And here I was thinking you were an old guy that knew what he was talking about. If you like to guess where your bullet is going I am sure those are alot of fun but I usually want to hit exactly what I am shooting at. It's an accuracy thing call me crazy
