Well, we are back to looking at the camper/enclosed trailer setup........... Arctic Fox 990

I wish I had a dually so I could get the big camper, nice having that extra room.....
Last time we bought an F350 at the farm the single rear tire had a greater load capacity rating than the dually. Might want to check on this for yours. Replace the stock tires with some good wide ones and you will have plenty of stability. JMHO based on past experience, but I could be wrong.
Arctic Fox will not sell campers larger than their 990 to anyone who doesn't have a dually setup.
With the larger campers when you go slow around a slanted corner so much weight shifts to the inside tire that there has been problems with the tire seperating from the rims. Thus the reason for requiring duals.
Well now, I didn't know that. I really doubt it would be a common occurrence with properly inflated tires. May be one of those CYA type of things.
It isn't how wide the tire is, it's the load rating. I put nothing but load range E and above on my truck. And I real doubt you can knock a tire loose from the rim with it inflated to 80PSI.

OK Josh and Marci, What is going on down there. I just got a call from a company that needs equipment for a TV show they are filming in University Place starting in August. It is for "Nanny 911".

Are those kids starting to get out of control???

Hey everyone. The wife gave me the go ahead to get a 450!!! I am thinking about getting the LTR. Besides with the frame cracking, as anyone heard anything else that is bad? Oh and all that crap that Rancher was talking about when I got stuck in the mud hole last weekend. I had already gone through that mud hole twice. besides that the jeeps made the hole another 6-8 inches deeps and stickier.
Wild.. what do you wanna do with it? The LT is not set up for trails. you will never keep up with rancher on it.
True True, but hey he can't keep up with me now, he buy's a 450 and I buy and 800 hmmmm dosen't look like the outcome will be in his favor But hey best of luck to you Wild
