Default Puget Sound Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Well!.......

this is the Story!

Marci's truck has 2 Blasters and a ttr90 motorcycle in the back with a 19 ft Prowler attached to the hitch

I plan on being at the Chevron Station by 6:30 (let me know if there is a place close by to park with the trailer )

now this is my "test" run with the prowler, as it has been a long time since I've towed anything, and never this big (other than bringing it home!) so don't laugh to hard

Although the plan is not to stay overnight, I might if others are! I'm bringing the trailer as much for my test drive, as for shelter at the staging area

If anyone needs/or wants it, My cell is 253-297-9876, feel free to call it, I use it for business and it's on all the time (it's actually my primary # for everyone to reach me)

Michael will be with me and Marci, bless her heart, is still working on her Masters and will make her decision in the AM if she can make it

See ya all soon

Bill

We actually park in the Wal-Mart parking lot, which is right next to the Chevron. You can't miss us, and plenty of room for the trailer.

Bill i will bring the trailer hook up in case you have ony problems towing....I can back you up...

the exit you need to tak is right at the bottom of the hill (west valley highway exit) you turn right at the light, go through the next light (which is Peasley canyon road) and turn Left at the following light (15th Street SW) Chevron on your left 1/2 mile.

Outkastjoe...I was there earlier as well...If you need directions to the staging area let me know I will check thread before I leave in morning...

Directions.....I-90 East to Exit 70, at the end of the ramp turn left and go over the freeway (I-90), at the T in the road turn right on Sparks road, on your left 1/4 mile you will pass the Texaco Station, there is a BIG open gravel parking lot just past the Texaco sign....pull in that is the staging area
is there another staging area? if so i would like directions to that.

Well, after a good nights sleep. I feel a bit better. There must have been a bunch of tired old 40 somethings out there last night. Not one single post.

Bill, I hope you are feeling better soon. Heres that web address I was telling you about.

servicehonda.com

Troy,

That was an excellant riding area. Im looking forward to getting back up there when the weather is a bit drier. Now, the way I understand you, if the public wants to go there to ride, they pay 5 dollars per bike for access to the trails? Its well worth it for all the riding that is available. Plus the camping spots are great. I should have checked out the tenting area before I left since thats what we do.

Had a great time

I think you mean Dan (NWQF), in reference to the riding area, that's his territory, and what a great place to ride, will have to return in the spring. The variety of terrain was fantastic, and Bill's Hill, WHOA!!!

Tired old 40 somethings? you bet, I got home, unpacked, ate dinner, a couple of coronas and hit the sack. And yes I'm sore today, that was some pretty hard riding at times, not just logging roads, alot of whoops and roots and ect. and how about those hill climbs. Who do you pay the money to? and can you always park in the gravel lot or do you need permission, and if you can't park in the lot, where do you park?

Bill

I hope your'e feeling alright, I know your'e very sore, take care of yourself and heal up for the next ride.

Great ride, thanks for taking us up there. I think next time we will be alittle better about the airstrip, but sometimes horses and quads don't mix, that old timer was really hot, I thought is was pretty funny, quick, lets get out of dodge, the sheriffs coming, yea right!!! Oh well, I had a blast, and I'm suprised I didn't get bucked off my quad through the whoops, but again, thanks for the ride.

Larry (and everyone)

I thought it would be my back that hurt this morning, I don't usually bend it that way, but it's OK BUT..... apparently I twisted my left knee and thats what hurts today (It's OK if I don't move it ) I'm gonna find that tree in the spring!

The good news it that the quad didn't get damaged (I hope, I'm on my way to unload and inspect it now) and I can shift without moving my knee to much, I should be ready to go back out soon!

Dan, If I remember right, If we want to ride there again, we go to the campground where Mark & Julie were, If we stay overnight we ride for the camp fee, If we just want to stay for the day, It's $5. (where would we stage from?) , and again, IT WAS A GREAT RIDE!

Mark, Good thing I didn't stay, That knee of mine was real sore by the time I made Tacoma, But I look forward to the next opportunity to camp (when I'm more prepared) I hope you got the message from Nick, his phone went dead and I didn't have your # to call

Nick, Thanks for the website, I think I've been there before, But I found a place in California that will cut there profit and let you have it a little less... That's where I'll get Michael's A-Arm if I don't find a used one

I'm ready to go again soon!

Bill
