Default Puget Sound Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

lokids650- your gonna hate me.... at goldendale camping was free, gate fees were only $3/day, and race fees were $30/day

happarap- i'm not sure if many will have them polished up for show & shine, even though it's normal to see everyone checking out the other rides.... it's all about having a quad only event & having fun.

HappaRap- I picked up a set of used holeshots for the 400ex. I am planing on going to quadfest on that Sunday. I was hoping to set up a booth selling graphics there, but all my calls went unanswered. What's happening in Easton? I haven't been there before, my fiance and I are looking t ride this weekend.

Ok, I understand alittle better, didn't know there where two camps, this road you talk about, the one with the speed limit sign, the one you refered to riding to get to some spots, is it paved or gravel. Just don't want to run a long paved road, not good for the tires.
Even a short track is cool, something different, logging roads are fun, but would like something besides just running down a gravel road. Remember, you are the guide for this trip, we will follow you oh fearless leader.

The Easton ride's on the 11th, Saturday for the day, unless you want to camp, then it's 10th-12th. You can probably get all the information needed from recent past posts about the ride. Sounds like there's gonna be alot of forum members, plus the guys I'm bringing, they're a bunch of old farts but they ride pretty hard and fast. Rusty, Ken and myself are in a picture in my gallery.
Are you racing at Quadfest? I'm 90% sure going to Quadfest on Sunday, I love looking and talking to people about their rides and what modifications they've done, find out what works and what doesen't.
I'm working on my quad this weekend, so no riding for me, Easton should be a blast, hate for you to miss it, plus it gives everybody a chance to meet for the first time, if you haven't met before.

Hey Dual-Sporter it sounded like Goldendale was fun and you did good. I am just a little bitter about paying to be a part of the entertainment and having to pay to watch. The whole thing was cool hanging around and B.S’ing with everyone. I checked out other bikes. I kept getting razzed about my handlebars being bent.

All in all I know that I could have done better but happy with what I got.

As for Quad fest it is on Sunday 10/12/03 and its not just racing there will be games, relay’s and other cool stuff. Kids 12 and under are free and get to ride free. I am sure that there will be a beginner moto like they have had in the past. That’s for anyone that would like to try the track without all the pressure of the race!
As for showing off quads I think everyone dose some of that. All you have to do is some walking around.

Lokids I was hoping to go to the Quadfest and set up a table with custom Graphics and stickers. Are you involved with this event. I have been trying to get in touch with the people who are running this event and I haven't received a call back. Oh well I guess maybe I'll go riding instead.

Why don't you go riding with us at Easton? I know it's kinda far from where you live, but not that much further than Pacific Raceway. Valerie and I are going to Quadfest on Sunday, unless it's raining, then I'm stripping wallpaper inside the house hehehe.

Does your daughter race at Pacific? Does she or you know a little boy about 9 or 10 that looks like he's about 12, rides a Predator 80, he's Hawaiian, his name is Niko, father's name is James?

Disassembled rear hub, axle carrier yesterday, alot of rust in the teeth of the sprocket carrier and brake carrier, that's what I call the area of meshing where they slide together for lack of a better term. Gonna look for bearings and seals tomorrow, alittle bit of water rust in there, no more pressure washing, even though I haven't done that in quite some time. This has been a real fun experience, first attempt at this procedure. Any tips for putting it back together? I started a thread about greasing the axle before final assembly.

Thanks
Larry
