I rode a 2 day ISDE qualifier in Bellingham Washington once. aug/87 I believe. Damm that was fun.

 

Cloudy and cool today with chance of showers. Otherwise it's been hot (for us Northwesterners)

It's trike test tuesday!

 

Good morning everyone. We are going to dunes in October and thought about camping at Horsefall's or Spinreel which do all of you perfer? We have done Florence several times and decided to go farther down this next time. Someone told us from Horsefall's campground to the beach is along bumpy ride to get to the beach? Do you know if Spinreel is long ride to beach to? and if you have stayed at Spinreel which is the good campspots? Would appreciate any help from the dunes experts...

Happy Belated birthday Joel. Sounds like you all had a fun time.

Sorry i missed it, i already had a birthday party to go to.

With that being said.....A bunch of us (8) went to Belfair to go riding, we got 10-15 mins into the ride and i decided to do some donuts. Well my quad wheelied out of a donut and rolled over. I landed on my front right tire , My quad has a bent tie rod,bent my handlebars, and brake lever. I fractured my clavicle, better known as a break in the collarbone. I tried to ride after i crashed and it just kept getting worse and worse. My friend took me to bremerton hosptial and i was checkin and out of there in 3 hours. No waiting what so ever!! They took an x-ray and gave me a copy. I'm on some vicodin, and pain pills. I layed around sunday and monday. Went to my regular doctor yesterday and he put me in a different brace, which pulls my shoulders back. I'm at work today and i'm in some serious pain. I can't take any of my vicodin because then i will be sleeping on my desk. I called my boss when i got out of the doctor office and she was giving me a guit trip, saying well do you think you can drive, do you think you can work? So as i'm sitting here now in alot of pain, i think i'm only going to be working a half of a day. This is my first ever fractured bone. I have never cracked or broke a bone before. I really don't like the feeling either!!
