If she was exhibiting bad behavior, then maybe he needs to know it. And raptory posting crap about me in the spinners is pretty low too. Until this post, I hadn't posted about him at all. Frankly, he isn't worth my time to worry about.
I stated a generalized reason why I chose to not pay the membership. It has NOTHING to do with the advertising policy here, it is the moderator attitude I took offense to that led me to make that choice. I had dropped it back then, but I still won't pay the membership. I fully understand what drives this site. That's why I have chosen to utilize my most powerful weapon by not monetarily supporting something I took issue with. So far, I don't see anything to change my mind.
Yes, I still use this forum for free. So do many others. If you think everyone should have to pay to participate, change how it works. If I thought becoming a paying member would provide me with any more respect and consideration than I see now, I might consider it. So far, I am just not inclined to support the behavior.

Common sense and good manners would dictate, at least where I was raised, that using a persons name on the forum would be avoided. It would also seem that if a chastising was called for it would be done in private rather than on the board.

Your analogy is somewhat over the top but I understand what you are driving at. If I were to invite anyone and everyone into my "house", which is what has been done here, I would expect to have problems from time to time. In this case where an attempt is being made to show a profit the rules change somewhat. I understand, now, the reason for MB being sat in the corner or banned. What I still do not understand are the two, and in my opinion best left to a PM, sentences in Daves message that brought this to a boil. Very poor management practice of a business venture in this one instance.

All that being said I must also say how much I appreciate ATV Connection. The site is easy to navigate and seems to have few problems which is much appreciated by those of us who are not that interested in knowing all about computers. This small glitch today will pass shortly when all that have gotten involved have had their say and lessons will have been learned. Hopefully a more knowledgeable and tolerant community will be the result.
