Bear no one is attacking your rights we just simply asked you to take the gun talk to the appropriate forum and you turned this into a soapbox to defend your constitutional rights and spew your vehement spin on things. I am a card carrying life member of the NRA and have contributed thousands of dollars over the years to protect gun ownership rights and one thing I have learned is that you have to look at things from others perspective and respect the opinions of others even if you don't agree with them. This In my opinion is not the forum for such discussions.

 

A perfect world it isn't but since this is cyber world let me offer a suggestion....shhhh....just listen.....


The weather up there may not be so warm and fuzzy this time of year I dunno. So lets all gather up and head to a nice warm sandy beach off the mainland. The waves will be rolling in nicely with a perfect offshore breeze and temps hovering in the mid 80's. There will be plenty of large hammocks hung from the palms, everyone get the tropical drinks they would like, surf boards, body boards, scuba, and snorkel gear are available for all to enjoy.

You attacked me for something I did not do to someone else and have continued to attack me for defending myself against your continued attacks. You think I'm a jerk, well that's your right and your opinion. But you are doing exactly what I said the antis do. Why are you trying to start drama? Doing a little warm up for the busy holiday season?

 

I know I don't chat on here much, and some of you won't give a rats azz about what I have to say (and that is your right as an American) but I certainly read everything that is posted daily and have for more years that some of you have been members on here.
I really don't care about Where to Ride but I do care about the people on here that we have all met and grown close to. I might not "love" all of you but I certainly don't care what you talk about because that is what my scroll on my mouse is for, I just move on down till something interests me.

It's kind of a shame that all of a sudden people have to worry if they are on a topic that someone else not want to read about. Everyone on here is guilty of talking "off topic" and not just Where to Ride issues. But who really cares? Some things may have even been offensive to others too but that is what is nice about a forum, you just move down until you find something you want to read about. Some sites have very strict rules about staying on topic, that is one of the nice things we have found here, the ability to go in and just say "Good morning" to people who are your friends and ask how they or their family is or their dog is or their job is or their house is or whatever.

As far as there being a different forum for some of these topics, oh, that sounds like fun having to leave just to discuss a different issue, sounds pretty silly to me. We used to all get along in here, what happened and why did you all get so sensitive..about everything?? There are WAY more serious issues in the world than anything that goes on in here, everyone needs to chill...I agree with you OFC.
