Sometimes it happens that way. We always hope you find the great ones first.

I would go broadband, but they don't service my house, so they don't get my money. Satellite equipment is too expensive and no one will bring high speed down my road. Stuck with dialup, even though I am a tech for hicap circuits, how's that for irony? Swipe broadband from school or work for any download requirements. Gotta do, whatcha gotta do.
This is a CLOUT ALERT HB-1692 This one will keep our OHV fund from going to National forest that don't have OHV trails. Seems this has been happening.
The Washington Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (WOHVA) http://www.wohva.org/
representing over 250,000 4WD, ATV and Off Highway Motorcycle enthusiasts in
WA State is supporting HB 1692. We need your help and communication to
your PERSONAL legislator who is on the committee that will hear this bill
Wednesday morning, February 7, 2007 at 0800.
Under current law federal agencies such as the United States Forest Service
apply for and receive funding from the Washington State NOVA (non-highway
and off-road vehicle activities) program. NOVA funds are intended for OHV
use. This bill prevents NOVA funds from going to federal agencies which do
not have areas allowing ORV use. This has been happening!
Here is the language change - "The committee may not award grants to any
federal public land management agency in (d)(ii) of this subsection if the
grant applicant does not have an ORV management plan that designates areas
allowing ORV use."
Each bill has to clear many hurdles before it can get to a full floor vote
by the legislature. YOUR legislator will only listen to constituents from
their own district. YOU are one of those key people right now as YOUR
legislator sits on the committee that will hear this bill on Wednesday.
In fact, YOU may be the only person in your District getting this alert. Be
sure to take 5 minutes to let them know you support HB 1692.
Please contact your legislator, Representative William Eickmeyer,
immediately! You can visit your legislator's website immediately by
clicking this link: http://www1.leg.wa.gov/House/Eickmeyer/. Sample text
that you can copy and paste into the EMAIL link ON THAT SITE is provided
below, or write your own. It is vital that you make your voice heard on
this important issue! (Please USE the EMAIL link SHOWN on the LINKED SITE
in this alert.)
Just CLICK on the green colored "E-mail" hot link right below your
legislator's phone numbers on the page provided in this alert.
Do NOT use regular Internet email as that is very unlikely to get to your
legislator in time.

your detailed message
As one of your constituents, I am requesting that you support HB 1692 when
your committee hears this bill on Feb 7, 2007.
The Washington Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (WOHVA) representing over
250,000 4WD, ATV and Off Highway Motorcycle (OHM) enthusiasts in WA State is
supporting the passage of this bill.
It only makes sense that the Nonhighway and Offroad Vehicle Activities
(NOVA) funds (our off road gas tax refund) is only used in areas providing
Offroad Vehicle opportunities for the people who worked with the Legislature
to establish this program in 1973 in order to promote and provide off road
vehicle recreation in WA State.
I am one of the people who provide the money and this is how I want it to be
used.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
--
