We walked under the bridge along the railroad tracks and then took the falls trail.

Well we headed up to Smokey Point Cycle Barn today for early sign ups for racing & to see Ms. Alaska [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] I MUST SAY ROFLMFAO that was TOOOOOOO funny!!!!!! Billy did an AWESOME job on his costume, I really hope you get the prize Bill [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I forgot to ask about customers voting [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] sorry!! Left there about 2:30 & headed to Everett, crusing about 25 on I-5 by the Hwy 2 exit when all of a sudden some JACK HOLE in a aerostar mini van comes SHOOTING from the fast lane over 3 lanes to the slow lane, well the poor lady in the cute little VW bug didn't have a choice & slammed her brakes on(this is in the lane next too me) when the Dakota slammed into her & so on & so on & so on [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] I was CRINGING just listening to it next to me & thinking "OH MAN DON'T LET THEM HIT ME" [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] well i DIDN'T get hit THANK GOD, & then the guy in the van cut someone else off geting onto the exit so we took that exit & got his license plate # & called him in THERE ARE SOME VERY PO'ED PEOPLE I'm sure that will find it nice to know that someone may catch up w/ him [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] that was my good dead for the day!!!

Went & had some dinner, man cant' beat a sirloin, spud, salad/soup for 5.95 anymore [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] was good food too!!

Now Wunderboy & the Brown Kid went to the MOnster tRucks @ EEC & we lost Trevor @ SPCB [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] he went home w/ his Uncle who was there, hmmm no kids & nuttin' to do oh well guess the peace & quiet is nice!!!!

The wife and I did the Blue Lake trails on our quads last year. First the F.S. lies, the trails are very narrow and steep and cut into the side of the mountains (with long falls if you screw up), so they are not beginner trails. Second there are injuries and even deaths on those trails way to often, the Ranger told us about a woman that went off the trail and died before they could get to her earlier that year. The ride has beautiful senery and the lake is breath taking. The trails however are not as stated in their info. Oh yeah, we camped for 5 days at the Blue Lake campground and rode from there, so this wasn't a one day assessment and we did use our winches.

 

Whoa! That's way too close for comfort. Glad you didn't get hit. Good on you for chasing the bad guy down. Sounds like he had to know he caused a wreck. Think I'm gonna turn on the news and see if it made the box.
