On to a different note, WHEN & WHERE will the PSAR X-MAS Party be. If everyone wants to do it at my shop again, no problem. It will have to be on a week night (Wed, Thurs or Fri). I know that the 15th and the 16th of November are out, but the other weeks are good. If someone has a different location great, I just want to get it started, it is already Nov 1st.

Everyone chime in and let me know.
I'm in for the party! Just request not on Wed. or Thurs. nights.
I'll bring the chili myself this time!
Ummmmmmmm, Rod's chili, yummy

Wingy a Fri. is best for us also as Ron gets up @ 5am for work also!! If we can decide on a date ASAP that would be really cool so Wunderboy could request it off, he's supposed to ask 3 weeks early but I may be able to swing something for him

2006-07 Race Resume for DJ Sandvig #4

My name is DJ Sandvig and I have been racing quads for 6 1/2 years. I am 16 yrs. old and
a sophmore at MAHS in Marysville, WA. I also work part time at McDonalds. I started racing on a 1999 Honda TRX90 then moved on to a 1989 Suzuki LT80 and podiumed 4th that year, after the LT80 we purchased a 1990 Yamaha Blaster, I then started running the Open 200cc and Youth 200cc classes. After the blaster I was offered to ride a 2004 YFZ450 and took that opportunity along with racing our modified Honda 300EX in the 250-350cc 4 stroke open class, and the 200cc classes also, I finished out the year 4th in points on the 300EX and I podiumed 3rd overall that year on the 450. The next winter my parents, grandparents and Uncle all went in and purchased the YFZ450 and that is what my current bike is.
I am looking for some winter sponsorship and would appreciate any help I can get for this season. As for what can I do for you if you sponsor me? I will promote your company and get your name out to alot of different people, and run your company logo on my race quad and our race hauler. What can you do for me? Well monetary help is great as it is costly to maintain and keep my quad in top notch running shape to be competitive. Discounts are also good on your products or product samples too. Why should you sponsor me? I am a very competitive racer and love racing, my goal is to become a Pro Dirt Track and TT racer and race for Yamaha one day soon, and I have a very level head and do not get angry or have a bad attitude if I lose.
Some of my racing highlights are being the 2004 Monroe Youth 200cc Champion, I've podiumed 3rd the last 2 years on my YFZ450, and finished in the top 3 -4 at most of my races on the outdoor tracks I raced this past summer.
Here is a list of some of my race results from the past year:
RMC Indoor TT Racing:
March 11,2006: 4 stroke Open Class: 1st

RMC Indoor Flattrack:
March 18,2006: 4 stroke Open Class 1st
Open Quad Class 2nd

Hannegan Speedway Flattrack:
June 2006: 4 stroke Open Class 1st
July 2006: 4 stroke Open Class 4th

Skagit Speedway
September 9, 2006: Pro Outlaw Quad Class 3rd
These are just a few of my race results to give you an idea of how I have finished. A few of my highlights are, in 2004 I was the Monroe Indoor Youth 200cc Champion on my 1990 Yamaha Blaster, and as said before I podiumed 3rd on my YFZ450. I will be running the 450 Open class once again along with the Pro class this winter at Monroe. My goal for the 450 Open class is to win the Championship this year and to become a faster and better rider running with the Pro's. On December 15, 2006 I will also be racing at the Everett Events Center ICE Races, I ran this race last winter also, I ran in the Amatuer Class and placed 4th. It was a great experience and I can't wait to do it again this year and am looking forward to a better finish.
In closing I would like to Thank you for taking the time to look over my resume' and I hope we can have a racing relationship in the near future.

Sincerely,
DJ Sandvig #4 YFZ450
