I bought some AXO Slammer boots last summer down in Reedsport.
I love riding the dunes with them but I wouldn't wear them while riding trails. Not enough protection in my opinion. And yes, I know about opinions!

the O'neal boot is similar to the AXO SLAMMER, AND ICON MOTORHEAD. They are all very solid built product. The AXO boot comes with

SKULLS on them.

I read in a trike forum that a pw50 fuel tank will fit under the airbox cover on the tri-z's, so I might try that to get rid of the fuel pump. I've also seen some folks build fuel tanks to fit under the airbox. I think the pw tank will be a bit small for the longer rides.

Where is the fuel tank on the Tri-Z located? Below carb. level?
