Anyone know anything about the First Crusade? I have to write a paper tonight from the perspective of a soldier. BAH! Can you tell I am avoiding? I like history, I hate this class. Narrow minded, unimaginative instructor.
Christians - 3
Others - 24

The first Crusade was a rout.

The majority of the common soldiers were mercenaries following a devout or misplaced son of a wealthy family. The soldiers lot was hard and not too many of them survived the poor food and living conditions. The stories that have come down make for excellent reading but are often contradictory depending on who wrote them and when.

With the kind of instructor you describe ie: "Narrow minded and unimaginative" (sic) it matters not what really happened. This type of person will not listen to anything but what they want to hear. The way to get along, and get a grade, is to tell them what they want to hear. If you inject irrefutable facts that do not fit with the instructors beliefs you will get slapped down for it.

If you have class notes of what he/she believes that will be your best source. I was unfortunate enough, as has been anyone that has much schooling after kindergarten, to bump heads with way to many of these kinds of instructors. Good luck.
Just watch Kingdom of Heaven. Not sure if its the first crusade but good movie (imho). Portrays Templars as mercs though which i don't think is true. but it's still entertaining.

I get to do some jetting mods to the trike, install the new grips, adjust the chain, install the beer sign/ dune flag.

ANy of you "old" two stroke guys have any opinions on high end spark bolts? Looking for advise, pops always had us run the cheap ones.
The two stroke bikes I had always did well with cheap plugs, Champs, AC and such, but I would file the ground electrode back to where it covered just half of the center electrode. Made more of an oil burner out of it. Big thing was to change the plug often and not trying to clean them.

Course the really big two cycle tractors that had Ruxell engines used a plug that looked like a big glow plug out of a model airplane. They also had a second plug where you put in a smoldering wick to get them started. Is that how yours is set up?

Oh wait, turkey day weekend? Maybe. I thought you meant like tomorrow. Oh well might go tomorrow too.
