Bing? or anyone. Has there been any news from OFC yet?
Good chilly morning PSAR Lovely morning for a commute.
Took the oldest son and his wife to the airport this morning, they are going home to Mazatlan, and what a mess it was getting home. Trip each way usually takes about 20 minutes. Only took 35 going but coming back a Metro bus had blocked the ramp toward Burian so I had to go toward Southcenter and come back up the hill. That was all plugged up. Apparently I-5 and I-405 are both parking lots in this area. Took an hour and a half to get back.
Think I'll stay home and watch Disney movies with the grandson today.

Brrrr....who left the dang door open...
Happa got the Oregon run this morning and is in the thick of it all on I-5 south. Please say your little prayers to the commuting Gods for him for a safe journey there and back
I on the otherhand am telecommuting, too chicken to go out in it when I can stay here by the fireplace wearing my warm fuzzy slippers, sipping hot chocolate and work all day.
Everyone take care if going anywhere today....

Got all my reading done. Glad I read alot of it when I was in Colorado Springs on Saturday.
Nothing like coming home to cold snowy weather! It was beautiful down there!
70 degrees on Thanksgiving in Denver.
What a drive though! Too bad the truck didn't make it all the way!
For those of you that have driven I-84 from Boise to Salt Lake, you know that 200 mile stretch from Twin Falls to Brigham City? The one with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for 200 miles? Well, the tranny went up in smoke at mile 100! 100 friggin miles from anywhere! Luckily it was a very beautiful afternoon and I had cell service (with a very low battery). We were able to get a hold of the Ford Dealer in Brigham City and a tow truck was dispatched. We watched a very beautiful sunset in the Sawtooth Mountains and finally got towed into Brigham City about 8:30 PM.
Ended up having to rent a van to hold all of Nate's belongings and drove to Colorado Springs on Wednesday night. Nate is having to drive the rental back to Brigham City to retreave his truck and return the van on friday night and into Saturday. It is a 650 mile one way trip from Colorado Springs. I sure hope the storm that was forcast for there clears by Friday. It can get nasty going over the Rockies on I-80.
We did have a great Thanksgiving and a great time with Nate. He looks real good.
I think Nate is looking forward to a ride between Christmas and New Years. Hopefully we can make it a snow ride.
Well, now it's back to work.
