ahhhh, the Reiter Ride report, for DIRT TIRES
First and most important. A huge thanks to Reese Racing for the ride on the Scrambler. Not a single hickup all day long, even when I was in knee deep ice water winching, it performed flawlessly! Karl, the tuner over @ Resse Racing did the machine prep for this outing ( they knew they had a high profile pilot this weekend)
Hondablue, thanks for the quick trip up the pit on the 2fiddy, it was a short climb, but fun
TractorPacker, 2mny, thanks for the sponsorship at the mexi joint last night.
Dirtymomma, how did yer grips werk in the oh shat hillclimb?
it was great to see and ride with everyone yesterday. Them things didn't want to start yesterday (as a group) lots of warm exhaust on engines (that is teamwork) speaking of team work, a big thanks to everyone that packed air compressors, jump boxes, fancy pliers, food, drink, gas, towropes, beanies, cameras and most important, that PSAR smile

I waited for Sean to get ready while everybody took off, once he was on his quad and had it fired up, I took off. 1/4 mile down the trail, I crossed the blacktop and went to the top of the hillclimb and waited for him, he never showed up. He didn't see me cross the blacktop and turned left on the trail before the blacktop. I went back to look for him, but, couldn't find him. I asked the other riders that we passed if they saw him, they said he was behind me, but I was going too fast and left him behind.
I was using the buddy system with him at that point, but, I should have waited for him at the blacktop, which I didn't, hence, he made a wrong turn and got completely lost. I did the same with Bill (RealtorRider) on the second ride, waited for him at all crossings until he decided he wanted to go back to the staging area, at that point, I took off to catch the rest of the group.
It's not easy keeping track with 27 riders, but the old buddy system we used before simply was, don't lose sight of the rider behind you, if that rider's not in sight, stop and wait for them to catch up. Also, stop at all road crossings and where trails split and wait for everybody to catch up.
I'm very glad he ran into Karl, we wouldn't have left until he was found, I felt responsible for him getting lost in the first place. Everything worked out alright, it was a great ride and the largest number of riders I've ever been with.
A huge thanks to everybody

Hope it warms up soon so I can wash my quads off. The mud is frozen right on!

What do you guys think about establishing a PSAR channel? One that we all tune into on a ride, just in case we have radio's and want to communicate with eachother. This way we don't have to coordinate each ride with everyone.
I'll throw out the first bid on 8.8... that's the Toyz channel. Anyone else have a preference?
