I do remember the campus wide vote as to whether to get another live Butch when he died. I know that was before 1980 because that was my last year there.

As has been stated, the next ride looks like it's on the 14th at Reiter. If you don't know where Gold Bar is, it's about 30 miles east of Everett on Hiway 2 (Stevens Pass Hiway).
Should be a fair amount of snow there on the 14th if the long range weather forecast holds true.
