No, you cannot get a snowtrail permit unless it is a sled.

So buying and installing one of the track kits for quads would make you legal, right?

The ranger is correct, you cannot ride a quad on the snowmachine trails

I am going skiing at Mission Ridge on Jan. 27th. A Cle Elum Ranger told me there was nowhere to ride unless I had a tracked vehicle. Are there any places to ride an ATV in the winter somewhere near Mission Ridge?

Won't work. They won't give you a permit unless it's a sled (snowmobile)

I use Techwash and then Techwax waterproofer and then line dry in the garage.
Like Larry said, I rinse them with the hose first.

I was looking at the Rino radios on the Garmin site and there are several models to choose from. Any suggestions on which would be the best for use on group rides?

With waterproof gear it's best to wash it with Techwash. You can buy it at GI Joes. Regular laundry detergent will break down the waterproofing on your gear.

Like Larry said, I rinse them with the hose first.
