Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

The other nice thing about the gps unit is that it gives you all the useless statistics about your ride... entertainment for later when relaxing with a beer.

narrowing down my to do list

I got the new choke plunger installed in the Kodylack. Started up flippin sweet style then once it was warm, it decided it didn't want to run. So, me being me I start looking for reasons to charge you $500.00, and find that the handy dandy idle control **** is rusted stuck. I'll prolly end up pulling the carb off and giving it a good scrubbing. I also got alot of the mud cleaned out of the radiator. There is a good cleaning in store for it on saturday. I'll drag it to work and hit it with the steamer after I get it neckked
yer stripping my ol' girl have fun w/ that haha it's a PIA to take the plastics off, yamaha put them babies on GOOOODDDD
$500 dang mister whach you think you are a mekanik?? GEEEEE Imagine something being rusty on it poor abused quad
I know what having this blue biatch running good means to you. I figured I'd do the repairs as I would if it was my mothers. I'll do my best with the hand I've been dealt. If that means a few more days, I'm sure you understand

I was looking at the Rino radios on the Garmin site and there are several models to choose from. Any suggestions on which would be the best for use on group rides?
We have 2 120's and a 110. For group rides they'll function the same. If you want to load maps into it, then you'll need some memory to handle it. For the rides and what I use them for, I'd get the 110's. It's kinda nice to be able to ping the location of another rider...
Altho I have been accused of being a nerd by a local here I have no idea about "memory" and "load(ing) maps". Are these options that I should purchase at the same time as the radios or a seldom used add on to purchase as needed? Also, would one of the smart people here be able to assist with the loading and operation of said add on's?
Mike, I have a pair of Rino 120s also. At the time I bought mine there were only the 110, 120 and 130. The all work the same except the 120 can hold more maps, routes, way points, etc than the 110 and the 130 has more room than the 130. Since then the 520 and 530 have arrived on the scene and have more memory yet and more features. I have found that the 120 are more than adequate for anything I do. Which include hunting, quadding, traveling to and from quad sites and vacation locations and exploring new county side. It will interface with your lap top also. This last year was tough on my RINOs. One got rolled on by my quad and crunched the case real bad, it still worked but the screen was hard to read. The other just rolled over and quit working. Since both were out of warranty it cost me $89 = tax each to return them for repair. Garmin had the a whole 4 days and opted to replace them, rather than repair them. I bought mine as a set in a kit that had the two 120s, carrying cases, two computer programs (one of maps to download into the 120s and the other is a point of interest and the location of stores, gas stations motels, hotel, etc) and a computer interface cord. Overall I have been very happy with them. When the wife and I hunt we each carry one and I can always find her because of it. Also the back track feature leads you back to you start location. I have several other accessories like a power cord to run them off my quad, a handle bar mount, a window mount for in the car or truck (the power court works there too).

dm if that dont work out, you can check out seattle purebred animal rescue. you prob...wont find a puppy but it would be a good start also check local breeders sometimes there mommas are beyond what they would concider breeding age and they have them spayed or nutered and give them away. unfortunately i got no puppies right now and i dont expect to breed mine till march or april

Kind of sounds like the Rino 110 or 120 would do all I need done. Thanks everyone for the info.
