Old PSAR thread - please see the new one
There are a number of quads and trikes posted on CL the past couple of days. I found an '87 Honda 70 that is in supposedly very good shape. I know some people that had a little Honda during that time period and the thing was amazingly bullet proof. Was this an exception or were all of them like that. Reason I ask is I want something for our grandson and this may be a good starter quad for him. At $750.00 the price is right if the quad is good and would last him for a couple years. What kind of transmission and drive would it have? Any input would be helpful.

The amount you pay will depend on how much you insure the quad for. Mine are insured high, so I pay alittle more, if wrecked or stolen, I can replace a quad with whatever one I want

Mine are insured for full replacement value, including any after market parts.
