I think your machine is green with envy at my yellow one for being the original design, so there. j/k.

Trip to Sandlake for the weekend. Latest count was 20-25 or so, just from this thread, but it's usually pretty busy down there on President's Day weekend.

There's a bigger PSAR(this group) trip in April. First half is Saturday April 7th in Florence at Jessie M. Honeyman campground, checkout Wednesday the 11th, daytrip Wednesday at Winchester Bay on the way to Horsfall in CoosBay for the second half Wed-Sunday the 15th.

I am sure there will be other rides in between. I know there's a bunch down your way that will chime in if they are getting a ride together. Possibly a Southend day ride is due, since the last couple have been up here.

What do you mean by putting the exhaust on it? What's it do? When you hit the throttle it cuts out or sputters or dies, or when you let off the throttle? Does it happen all the way through the throttle, at idle only, half throttle, full throttle, etc.

You are rejetting after installing the new exhaust? If that's it, what size jets are you changing to? and are you changing the pilot jet as well as the main?

I jetted it with a 160 and moved the needle up one notch. I took it for a few spins around the block and heated it up. Took it to second gear and throttled it full on and it was great. Then I put on this new exhaust and its sputtering. Not sure what needs done. The directions and my mechanic buddy said that what I am running jet wise is just fine.

The reason you hear Suzuki this and that is because it's the exact same quad with different colored plastics. And I love my Z400. Built it out to a 463 and love it even more.
Have the LTR450 as well. LOVE IT. Wish it had reverse, and it's really NOT a trail quad, just too wide. The Z is better for trails. And the reverse thing is nice on trails. If you are talking Honda 450R, I like my Zuki 450 better, but others will disagree, and it's really not a good comparison since I have EFI. No jetting is nice.

Rock Candy, Tahuya, Belfair, Elbe, etc down your way. Up here, Reiter, Walker Valley, etc. Moses Lake, Beverly and Juniper in Eastern Washington. Less and less area to ride in Washington State. The Oregon Dunes are awesome fun though and not that far off.
